Dubai International (DXB) is set to experience a major surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Eid holiday period, with over 3.6 million guests expected between 26 March and 7 April.

The busiest day is projected to be Saturday, 5 April, with an estimated 309,000 passengers passing through the airport.

On average, DXB is set to handle 276,000 daily travellers, with the sharpest increase forecasted for early April. Outbound travel during Eid week is expected to rise by 19 percent compared to the average weekly traffic recorded in the past month, reflecting heightened seasonal demand.

With school holidays aligning with the Eid break, travel demand is soaring for popular visiting friends and relatives (VFR) destinations, including India, Pakistan, and the United Kingdom. Leisure travel is also seeing an uptick, with increased bookings to Sri Lanka, Türkiye, and Italy.

Dubai Airports' new DXB Express Maps provide real-time navigation, helping travellers find their way seamlessly through the terminals.

To facilitate smoother passenger journeys, Dubai Airports has introduced DXB Express Maps, a real-time wayfinding tool. By scanning a QR code displayed on any flight information screen, travellers can navigate terminals, locate gates, explore dining and retail options, or find airport facilities effortlessly.
